Crochet handwash/blocking question?
I made a dress for an infant out of a new silk/bamboo blend yarn and wanted to wash it before giving. I handwashed in warm water as per the instructions, then laid it out and pressed it with towels to remove the extra water.
The skirt of the dress before washing was about 18 inches. Now it is about 22. The dress is still a little damp from washing–will it go back to the right size? What can I do if it doesn’t?

Here is a link for you. I would wash the item again, empty water from basin or sink press water out ,not wringing . place on a towel and shape to the measurements and let dry.
