When would be an ideal time of year to transplant running bamboo?
I have a phyllostachys vivax bamboo which looks like it will take over a 10ft diameter area by next year based on the rhizome growth and my neighbor wants to start his own grove too.
When would be an ideal time of the year to transplant it?
Note… Its still only a 1 year plant
Has some impressive rhizome growth
