bamboo pen and touch doesn’t work with pen preasure?
Help? i had to reinstall the drivers but I lost my original CD’s for this product. The model number is CTH-460 if you know anything about why it’s not working of how to help please respond! I just re downloaded the drivers from the Wacom site and got the latest download.
Can you clarify what you mean by “…doesn’t work with pen pressure…” do you mean the pen doesn’t work at all but touch still works? or, do you mean that the pen does ‘draw’ but you no longer have variation or control over the pen pressure in your art/graphics applications? A few things you check in any case- I’m assuming you are using Windows so go to:
START=>All Programs=>Wacom Tablet=>Wacom Tablet Preference File Utility
and click “Remove” under “All User Preferences” and click yes/ok if Windows asks for confirmation. This will restore your tablet to it’s default settings this often gets messed up when you reinstall or update the tablet drivers and removing the old prefs usually fixes things.
If this doesn’t work or the problem is pressure or the pen not drawing properly/intermittently you may have to replace the pen nib, they do wear down and fail in time and need to be replaced, you should have some spares that would have come with the tablet.
