thin bamboo cane
What is this bamboo thing called?

My vietnamese mother-in-law has a traditional chinese medicine beating stick (or cane?) she uses on my back and all over my body to release inflammation and stuck qi in my lungs. It has a handle on one end and about twenty or thirty thin bamboo canes on the other. It looks to be about 3ft long. When you beat it against the body all the little canes come together with a whoosh sound against your back. It’s particularly useful in treating lung conditions. I’ve been looking to buy one online but I don’t know what its called. Can you help me?

I have no idea what they’re called.
